                          The Contractor is coordinating with MCWD for the in-plant inspection of the modular tank components at the manufacturer's plant in Eye Airfield Industrial Estate, England, United Kingdom next month. The tank components must be delivered not later than December 2016 in time for the scheduled installation on January 2017.

10.0 Proposed Pipelines Expansion Under Hydraulic Area 1 Package 5 (Brgy. Pajo & Pusok, Lapulapu City) M.E. Sicat Construction, Inc. It is expected to arrive at the port of Cebu by mid-October 2016. The previous request by Contractor for time extension has been approved by the Acting GM on September 6, 2016 and is awaiting for ratification from the BOD. If ratified, the new target completion date will be on December 7, 2016. Consequently, the PERT/CPM and the corresponding target accomplishment will be revised accordingly. The pipes and fittings which according to the Contractor are expected to arrive at the port of Cebu by August 2016 did not materialize. The Contractor told PMO that they (Contractor) were misinformed by their supplier regarding the arrival of the pipes. According to the Contractor their supplier has tentatively scheduled the shipment of the materials by September 30, 2016. The previous request by Contractor for time extension is on process. If approved, the PERT/CPM will be revised. SEP 6 appproved up to GM w/out board reso.

If ratified, the newtarget completion date will be on October 21, 2016. The target accomplishment shown at the left is based on the proposed revision of PERT/CPM if the BOD will ratify the time extension and variation order.  Pipeline installation along Matumbo and Mustang Road is completed except for the interconnection points. Meanwhile, pipeline installation along Soong-Dapdap Road has started. Contractor's request for time extension has been granted with the approval of Time Extension No. 1.                           For the Cordova area, the contractor is awaiting for the result of the potability testing from the MCWD Laboratory. Remaining works for this area is the ongoing road restoration.

13.0 Proposed Pipelines Expansion under Hydraulic Area 1 Package 11 (Brgy. Jubay, Liloan, Cebu) A.L. Except for the bridge crossing pipe and a small portion of the pipeline which is yet to be installed, pipeline installation is already complete and passed hydrotesting. PMO has issued a suspension order for the works of the bridge crossing pipeline that is affected by the ongoing DPWH bridge widening. Meanwhile, an independent support for the bridge crossing pipeline submitted by the contractor is being evaluated by ED. Once the independent support will be approved by MCWD, PMO and the contractor will then be negotiating for the cost of the same.
                       
14.0 Proposed Pipelines Expansion under Hydraulic Area 1 Package 3 (Consolacion, Cebu) Geo-Transport & Construction, Inc. Residents in this area are preventing the contractor from performing any works. To recall, MCWD had requested the Municipal Mayor of Consolacion to intervene on this matter. Recently, MCWD had received a correspondence from the Mayor stating that the residents would allow the pipelaying at the opposite side of the proposed pipe route.



The Contractor had already completed pipe installations on all areas of this project except for the Road to LDU area. Contractor's request for the deletion of the pipelaying works in this area is still being processed by the Legal Department of MCWD. Pondol Road and Road to Redwood Subdivision are the only areas which is yet to be hydrotested. Of the areas which already passed hydrotesting, namely, Tayud Highway and Bagacay Road, the Contractor is making finishing touches with the assemblies.
                With this new development, PMO and the contractor will have a courtesy visit with the Brgy. Captain of Tayud by early October 2016. After which, contractor will proceed works along Road to LDU.
                          Meanwhile, contractor is preparing the pipelines along Pondol Road and Road to Redwood Subdivision for final hydrotesting. Of the areas which already passed hydrotesting, namely, Tayud Highway and Bagacay Road, the Contractor is making finishing touches with the assemblies.

As for the area going to Amara, remaining works is disinfection.

The Norkis area was completed on June 15, 2016. It has been turned-over to PDD on June 30, 2016. Works on the other areas is ongoing.

Road restoration works along Catarman Road is completed. Meanwhile, PMO had issued a partial suspension of works on the remaining road crossing stub-outs and interconnections along Cebu North Hagnaya Wharf Road. PMO had requested ED for a new pipeline design to minimize the traversing and cutting across of the said road. This new pipeline design is to serve as new tapping points for the previously proposed road-crossing stub-outs.
