                            This month's work of the Contractor involves excavation of the retaining wall and tank foundation including concreting of the retaining wall footing. Ending this month, the Contractor incurs a -5.37% project slippage. The Contractor has committed to speed-up its work to catch up with the project target. The Contractor has started the clearing, grubbing, and temporary fencing works at the project site this month. The earthworks, which constitue bulk of the target this month, cannot start until the Building Permit is released. This results to a -1.05% project slippage.

The same has passed the MCWD-MEQC test on the forth week. By the end of the October 2016, the contractor has submitted a courtesy letter regarding the project to the DPWH Region VI.

The time extension granted to the contractor was ratified by the BOD with Resolution No. 09-188-2016. The PERT/CPM and the corresponding target accomplishment had been revised and approved.

The issue regarding the road restoration in this area has been. Resolved. The Contractor will provide reinforcement dowels for the road restoration which is ongoing.

The project is composed of two (2) areas - along Juan Sitoy St. Brgy. Catarman, Cordova, Cebu and along M.V. Patalinghug Ave., Lapulapu City. Pipelaying works along M.V. Patalinghug Ave. has been partially turned-over to the PDD. While waiting for the issue regarding the road restoration to be resolved, PMO had issued a partial time suspension of the works for the road restoration along M.V. Patalinghug.

                            For the Cordova area, restoration works had been completed. For the Cordova area, the only remaining works for this area is the ongoing road restoration.
                         
13.0 Proposed Pipelines Expansion under Hydraulic Area 1 Package 11 (Brgy. Jubay, Liloan, Cebu) A.L. PMO has issued a suspension order for the works of the bridge crossing pipeline that is affected by the ongoing DPWH bridge widening.

The ED has approved of the independent pipe support for the bridge crossing pipeline and has provided cost estimates for the same. PMO is processing the pipe support's variation order which includes cost negotiation with the Contractor.
This project consists of pipelaying in a single stretch along Jubay, Liloan hi-way. Except for the bridge crossing pipe and a small portion of the pipeline which is yet to be installed, pipeline installation is already complete and passed hydrotesting. PMO has issued a suspension order for the works of the bridge crossing pipeline that is affected by the ongoing DPWH bridge widening. Meanwhile, an independent support for the bridge crossing pipeline submitted by the contractor is being evaluated by ED. Once the independent support will be approved by MCWD, PMO and the contractor will then be negotiating for the cost of the same.

Contractor has been instructed to proceed works along Road to LDU. Pipes are to be installed at the opposite side of the road from the originally proposed pipe route. The newly installed pipes along Road to LDU had already passed hydrotesting. Presently, contractor is searching for leakages of the pipelines along Pondol Road in preparation for hydrotesting.
                            Meanwhile, contractor is making finishing touches with the some of the assemblies along Hi-way, Tayud, Road to Redwood, and Pondol Road. The project is composed of three pipelaying areas namely: (a) Cebu North Hagnaya Wharf Road, Compostela, (b) Norkis Compound, Cogon, Compostela, and (c) Catarman Road Leading to San Fernando Rey Parish Church, Poblacion, Liloan, Cebu.
The Norkis area was completed on June 15, 2016. It has been turned-over to PDD on June 30, 2016. Works on the other areas is ongoing.
Final inspection for the Liloan area was conducted last October 26, 2016. The completed portion along Cebu-Hagnaya Wharf Road is scheduled for final inspection by November 2016.
Meanwhile, PMO had issued a partial suspension of works on the remaining road crossing stub-outs and interconnections along Cebu North Hagnaya Wharf Road. PMO had requested ED for a new pipeline design to minimize the traversing and cutting across of the said road. This new pipeline design is to serve as new tapping points for the previously proposed road-crossing stub-outs.
