This project
consists of pipelaying in a single stretch only. Except for the bridge
crossing pipe and a small portionof the pipeline which is yet to be
installed, pipeline installation is already complete and passed hydrotesting.
Other works which have yet to be accomplished include: hydrotesting,
disinfection, restoration and interconnection. PMO instructed the Contractor
to resubmit the detailed structural design with computation for the bridge
crossing using approved parameters. |

Since January this year when the
Contractor was informed of the approval by the BOD of the deletion of the
interconnection work, it's only this month that the Contractor has resumed
work to complete the remaining works. The installation of the AV/AR and BOV
assemblies and road-crossing restoration are the remaining works. The
installation of the BOV assembly is ongoing. |

Variation Order No.1 that covers, among others, the deletion
of the interconnection work ensuing from the non-issuance by DPWH of the
excavation permit was approved by the BOD. With its approval, the PMO had
ordered the Contractor to complete the remaining works. Works to complete the
