The BOD had already granted the Contractor's request and PMO's recommendation to delete the remaining uninstalled portion of the project. The -54.50% project slippage corresponds to the uninstalled Mandaue City work component.

So far, the Contractor is still unavailable. The Contractor had sent a letter to MCWD to follow-up the latter on the formal instruction or directive on whether or not the Contractor could proceed works on the portions along Carajay Road and Dad Cleland Avenue in which there is still a pending variation order. The Contractor pointed out that the total variation orders that will be incurred is still less than 10% of the project's cost even if the variation order for the said portions will be appproved. Contractor also added that these portions are already granted excvation permits from the City of Lapulapu. MCWD is still awaiting the Contractor's official reply on the discussion between MCWD Director Eugene Elizalde, AGM Jose Eugenio B. Singson, Jr., PMO and DCDC's Petrious P. Dakay on February 20, 2015 related to variation order.

                    PERT/CPM for revision
For failing to complete the project within the approved time, liquidated damages will be imposed upon the Contractor starting January 1, 2015.  The May 14, 2015 letter of MCWD allowed the Contractor, subject to liquidated damages, 60 calendar days period to complete the project.      As relayed by the AGM for Technical Services, the BOD had approved the Revised PERT/CPM prepared by PMO that reflects the delay in the issuance of both the Building Permit and Excavation Permit. Per Revised PERT/CPM, the new project completion date will be December 31, 2014. Another test conducted by MSSD of the pump intended for the CUB-1 showed that the pump had passed the efficiency requirement.
                      The installation of the submersible pump and motor for Well CUB-1 is scheduled early next month. With most of the needed equipment/materials already available, a substantial accomplishment is expected next month.  
                          Liquidated damages will be imposed upon the Contractor reckoned from March 14, 2015 for its failure to complete the project within the approved time.  The MCWD on its May 14, 2015 letter, allowed the Contractor to continue his work for 60 days subject to liquidated damages.  The BOD had approved the suspension of Contract Time for 40 days retroactive on the day 1 (NTP) of the Contract. The suspended period is equivalent to the number of days from the NTP until the Contractor secured the Excavation Permit. PMO had already issued  the suspension of time to the Contractor.
