Singson, Jr., PMO and DCDC's Petrious P. Dakay on February 20, 2015 related to variation order. The negative slippage may be greatly attributed to the delay in the issuance of the excavation permit. The PERT/CPM of the project as well as the Time Extension is being processed.

Another test conducted by MSSD of the pump intended for the CUB-1 showed that the pump had passed the efficiency requirement.
The DI pipes and fittings had been delivered and passed the QC inspection, however, the tapping saddles and PE pipes (for stub-outs) have yet to be delivered. It is PMO's policy not to allow the start of pipelaying works unless all the needed materials are available and had passed the QC inspection. The pipelaying woks therefore, can not start until the lacking materials have been delivered and tested.
The pump intended for CUB-1 had been delivered. Result of the lab test conducted by  the MSSD showed it failed to meet the effeciency requirement. 
                          The BOD had approved the suspension of Contract Time for 40 days retroactive on the day 1 (NTP) of the Contract. The suspended period is equivalent to the number of days from the NTP until the Contractor secured the Excavation Permit. PMO had already issued  the suspension of time to the Contractor.  The uninstalled mechanical, electrical, and pipeline components of the project have comprised the 75.75% uncompleted work. The BOD had approved the suspension of Contract Time for 40 days retroactive on the day 1 (NTP) of the Contract. The suspended period is equivalent to the number of days from the NTP until the Contractor secured the Excavation Permit. Once the Board Resolution is out, PMO will issue the Suspension Order. With this suspension, the new contract completion date will be March 13, 2015.
