This Joint
Venture between MCWD and AWC was signed on June 19, 2013. The signing date
also served as the NTP. Under the joint venture, AWC will deliver a minimum
volume of 4,800 m3
of water daily to MCWD . |

AWC is awaiting from the Municipality of Consolacion the
approved Amendment to their existing MOA that will allow the former to extract additional volume of water from within the
municipality. AWC reported that the proposed amendment had already passed
thru the municipality's Committee on Laws, Committee of Commerce, Trade and
Industry, and Water Committee, and was deliberated and approved by the
Municipal Council last week of September 2013. The proposed amendment is now
at the Mayor's Office for signature/approval. |

Works (e.g.
well drilling, pipelaying, etc.) will start only after AWC secures the above
Amendment and the necessary permits. AWC though had procured already the HDPE
