1.0 Prop. Pipeline Expansion for Cabancalan Bulk Water Supply Felman Builders and Contractors PhP              16,744,730.61     28 Apr 2010 06 Feb 2011 Time Extension No. 2 is on process 100% 93.7% -6.30% Minor physical activity was done for the month of February. The Contractor, Felman Builders, conducted asphalt pavement cutting and breaking along M. Ceniza St., Mandaue City in preparation for the replacement of the defective HDPE pipes.
                      An on-going concreting works along Tingub by the Mandaue LGU poses a problem in replacing the defective HDPE pipelines since portion of the road where our defective pipelines were situated have already been concreted.
                          PMO advises the Contractor to inform the Mandaue City Engineers’ Office about the plan to replace the defective pipelines along Tingub area.
                       
2.0 Prop. Mactan Water System Improvement Program - Package 5 Ana Construction PhP              38,443,210.45     05 Jan 2011 01 Nov 2011 Project under suspension. - 61.32% - Ana Construction had already installed and hydrotested 342 l.m. of 300mm dia cc/cl steel pipes along Pajak-Maribago Road. The schedule completion as agreed for this particular area which is 45 calendar days did not materialize due to delays attributed to the minor obstruction along the pipeline route as well as lost time due to equipment breakdown.
                    Revision of the PERT/CPM is under evaluation Project Management Office reminded the Contractor to fast track and work double time in order not to hamper the on-going concreting works by the Lapu-lapu LGU.
                    Engr. Allan Pedrigal, OIC, Lapu-Lapu City Engineer informs PMO about the on-going concreting works along Sitio Abuno near BF Homes, Pajak-Maribago Road. For the meantime, Engr. Pedrigal is delaying the concreting works along this area to pave the way for the installation of 200mm dia x 300m HDPE pipes. However, it was agreed that the installation should only commence once the contractor or the water district has acquired the required excavation permit from the Lapu-lapu Local Government Unit.
                     
3.0 Prop. Ř 300 mm D.I Distribution Line along Pit-os, Talamban, Cebu City New Culion Builders Company PhP              54,099,956.35     15 Mar 2012 9 Dec 2012 30-Mar-13   69.75%   To date, the Contractor has already asphalted 2,694 l.m. stretch of pavement.
                          The Contractor is eager to complete the asphalting works as soon as possible in order that their suspension by the Talamban Barangay Council will be lifted and to resume the installation of the remaining pipelines in Talamban area.
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process The Contractor informs PMO about the delays in their procurement and delivery of butterfly valves which is beyond their control. This will be the basis for the contractor to seek for additional time.

4.0 Prop. Ř150mm & Ř100mm D.I Distribution Line along Umapad-Opao, Mandaue City New Culion Builders Company PhP              15,726,332.82     15 Mar 2012 9 Nov 2012 30-Mar-13   42.15%   The Contractor was not able to complete the installation of their pipelines particularly on the 150mm diameter since some fittings were not yet available. Likewise, they have difficulty in renting the needed backhoe breaker for the demolition of concrete pavement on the vicinity of the intersection of U.N. Avenue and Plaridel St., Mandaue City. 
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process PMO reminded the Contractor of their time table to complete the remaining works since their terminal date is on March 30, 2013.
                          The Contractor however, did submit a request for additional time due to the new requirement by the Mandaue City Engineer instructing them to put 8” thick lean concrete before their final Asphalt Restoration.
                          PMO is still evaluating their request for time extension.

6.0 Prop. D.I. Expansion Project at Monterrazas de Cebu Dakay Construction and Development Corporation Php              18,288,888.00   01 Nov 2012 14 May 2013   38.89% 0.00% -38.89% No physical activity as far as accomplishment is concerned. The Contractor is still awaiting the arrival of their D.I. pipes intended for the project. 
                        The Contractor has already secured the excavation permit from the Cebu City Government. However, such permit will allow them to conduct their activities on night time from 9pm to 5 am. 
                        PMO advises the Contractor to seek for an exemption on the working hours considering that the area is a residential area and doing night work will create public disturbance. 
                        PMO is still evaluating the Contractors’ request for time extension.
                        PMO is reminding the Contractor to constantly follow up the delivery of their needed D.I. pipes considering that their terminal date is fast approaching.
                           
7.0 Prop. D.I. Rehabilitation Project for DMA-25A, W. Cabalse and Holyname Sts., Mabolo, Cebu City Fdrcon Co. Php                2,449,834.22   24 Dec 2012 24 Feb 2013         This is a 'grant project' funded by JICA thru Yokohama Water Company Limited. This rehabilitation project that aims to improve the NRW of DMA-25A in Brgy. Mabolo, Cebu City, involves the installation of approximately 350m Ř100mm PVC pipeline along W. Cabalse Street and 24m Ř100mm PVC connecting line at corner W. Cabalse and Holyname Streets. MCWD will handle (c/o PMG) the installation of stub-outs and transfer-tapping of service connections including the  decommissioning of the existing waterline along W. Cabalse Street. Remaining works: Interconnection, restoration, 
  JICA-YOKOHAMA-MCWD Special Project                   Pipelaying activity has been completed. It already passed hydrostatic testing. Initial flushing and  disinfection were also completed on March 27, 2013. Interconnection works is scheduled on the first week of April 2013. The contractor had experienced difficulty in exploring the existing Ř350 mm CI pipe along MJ Cuenco Ave. due to its depthness. The actual depth is 2.30 m. from the road surface. . Lean concreting is on going and  about 70% completed. The contractor has also started installing  fire hydrants and its barricades. 
                    On the other hand, PMG has already commence  the installation of stub-outs.
                           
8.0 Proposed Ř250 mm D.I. Water Distribution Line along Sitio Malinao, Agus-Marigondon, Lapulapu City Geo Transport & Construction, Inc.                     With this development, the Contractor is now awaiting for the delivery of their ordered D.I. pipes and Fittings.
                    For the meantime, the Contractor is coordinating with the Local Government Unit of the respective city for the application of the required excavation permit.
                           
9.0 Proposed Ř300 mm D.I. Water Distribution Main  - Canduman, Mandaue City to Tigbao, Talamban, Cebu City Geo Transport & Construction, Inc.                     For the meantime, the Contractor is coordinating with Mandaue as well as Cebu City for their application of Excavation Permit since the project involves two cities.
                           
10.0 Proposed Ř150 mm Water Distribution Mains - Basak-Babag, Lapulapu City (for Modena Subdivision) Ana Construction Php 8,368,625.90   07 Feb 2013 04 Sep 2013   0.00% 0.00% 0.00% No physical accomplishment for this particular project considering that the Lapu-Lapu City Government is awaiting and evaluating the performance of the Contractor, Ana Construction, toward the completion of the installation of 300mm dia cc/cl steel pipelines along Pajak-Maribago Road.
