Also, during
the hydrotesting of the whole stretch of the pipeline that was conducted by
the contractor, an air lock was encountered at the higher elevation of the

School. To address this matter, PMO proposed to put an additional set of Air
Vacuum and Air Release (AV/AR) Valve to said portion. PMO requested the
approval of the Engineering Department for
the said AV/AR which the latter had approved. For the additional AV/AR, contractor is requesting for a time extension to cover for the procurement and installation of the valve. The contractor's request is under evaluation by PMO. |
