1.0 Prop. Pipeline Expansion for Cabancalan Bulk Water Supply Felman Builders and Contractors PhP              16,744,730.61     28 Apr 2010 06 Feb 2011 Time Extension No. 2 is on process 100% 93.7% -6.30% Felman Builders were reminded pertaining to their terminal date which is on July 31, 2013 to finish their project otherwise Liquidated Damages will be imposed. So far, no physical activities pertaining to the replacement of the inferior HDPE pipes were being conducted as the contractor is preparing their resources such as manpower and equipment. Portion of the 307 lengths replacement HDPE pipelines composing of diameters 75mm, 100mm and 150mm passed the various test conducted by MCWD Quality Control Personnel. Remaining replacement pipes are still due for delivery by their supplier, MIGS System.
                       
2.0 Prop. Mactan Water System Improvement Program - Package 5 Ana Construction PhP              38,443,210.45     05 Jan 2011 01 Nov 2011 Project under suspension. - 61.32% - The Lapu-Lapu City Government thru the City Engineer’s Office has granted the Contractor via MCWD an Excavation Permit for the Proposed Mactan Water System Improvement Program (MWSIP) Package 5 specifically the 528 l.m. 300mm dia cc/cl steel pipes along Pajak-Maribago Road. Project Management Office is coordinating closely with the Contractor regarding the implementation and insisted that the project should be completed on or before the set deadline which is 45 calendar days. PMO informs the Contractor that the early completion of this segment will motivate the Lapu-Lapu City Government to approve the permit intended for the remaining areas under Package 5. 
                      Revision of the PERT/CPM is under evaluation
                     
3.0 Prop. Ø 300 mm D.I Distribution Line along Pit-os, Talamban, Cebu City New Culion Builders Company PhP              54,099,956.35     15 Mar 2012 9 Dec 2012 30-Mar-13   60.72%   To date, the Contractor has laid 3,088.71 l.m. of 300mm dia. D.I. pipes wherein 2,801.71 l.m. were already hydrotested.
                          The Contractor was not able to complete the pipelaying works since they are concentrating on the installation of lean concrete in preparation for final asphalt overlay. 
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process A total length of 2,239 l.m. of pavement was already placed with lean concrete. The Contractor is only allowed to install lean concrete on pavement during Friday and Saturday to avoid traffic caused by the curing of the lean concrete.
                          The SP/Cl Steel pipes along the Bacayan Bridge have already passed the hydrotesting test.
                          Contractor’s request for Variation Order is on the final stage of evaluation. Likewise, their request for time extension was approved by MCWD Management.
                          New Terminal Date of Completion will be on March 30, 2013.

4.0 Prop. Ø150mm & Ø100mm D.I Distribution Line along Umapad-Opao, Mandaue City New Culion Builders Company PhP              15,726,332.82     15 Mar 2012 9 Nov 2012 30-Mar-13   42.15%   The Contractor did maximize the installation of D.I. pipes for the month of February after its delivery last January.
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process A total of 486 l.m. of 100mm dia and 247.50 l.m. of 150mm dia D.I. pipes were installed for the month of February. They are expected to complete their pipelaying works by next month.
                          The installation of G.I. Pipes along Paknaan Bridge is already complete and will be subjected to hydrotesting activities.
                          MCWD Management already approved the Contractor’s request for additional time due to the change of tapping saddles and the delays in procuring the revised saddles.
                          With the approval, the Contractor’s new terminal date is on March 30, 2013.
                           
5.0 Jaclupan Desilting WT Construction PhP                8,000,000.00     17 Jun 2012 17 Dec 2013 -       The total physical volume percentage covered on the removal of silt, sand and gravel at sedimentation basin, river channel, and weir is already 1.91% as of January 31, 2013. This is equivalent to 7,640 cu. m.. Contractor WT Construction is still awaiting for the permit to be issued by PENRO.

6.0 Prop. D.I. Expansion Project at Monterrazas de Cebu Dakay Construction and Development Corporation Php              18,288,888.00   01 Nov 2012 14 May 2013   38.89% 0.00% -38.89% The Contractor requested for an exemption for the In-Plant Inspection to Kolkata, India due to the recent change in policy for granting Business Visa to enter India which took so long to process and thus delaying the inspection of the needed materials as well as its delivery. 
                        MCWD Management approved the request for exemption provided that the Contractor will submit the Manufacturer’s Certification stating that the D.I. pipes and fittings conform to the standards and specification as prescribed in ISO 2531 as well as they will guarantee and take the full responsibility of the materials delivered and installed in the project.
                          With the approved exemption, PMO expects that the Contractor will coordinate with their agent, Waterkonsult, for the processing of documents and for the delivery of the D.I. pipes and materials.
7.0 Prop. D.I. Rehabilitation Project for DMA-25A, W. Cabalse and Holyname Sts., Mabolo, Cebu City Fdrcon Co. Php                2,449,834.22   24 Dec 2012 24 Feb 2013         This is a 'grant project' funded by JICA thru Yokohama Water Company Limited. This rehabilitation project that aims to improve the NRW of DMA-25A in Brgy. Mabolo, Cebu City, involves the installation of approximately 350m Ø100mm PVC pipeline along W. Cabalse Street and 24m Ø100mm PVC connecting line at corner W. Cabalse and Holyname Streets. MCWD will handle (c/o PMG) the installation of stub-outs and transfer-tapping of service connections including the  decommissioning of the existing waterline along W. Cabalse Street.
  JICA-YOKOHAMA-MCWD Special Project                   The Contractor had requested a time extension until March 14, 2013 as the the Excavation Permit was granted by the Cebu City Government only on January 28, 2013  after the Sinulog Festivities. The request for time extension was granted. 
                    The Project Schedule and Target Accomplishment will be revised following the grant of time extension. Ending February, the actual project accomplishment is 52.53%. Pipelaying and related works are ongoing and expected to be completed within the  revised completion date. 
                           
8.0 Proposed Ø250 mm D.I. Water Distribution Line along Sitio Malinao, Agus-Marigondon, Lapulapu City Geo Transport & Construction, Inc. Php 7,488,159.00   28 Jan 2013 01 Jul 2013   0.00% 0.00% 0.00% Pre-Construction Meeting was held last February 7, 2013. The Project was awarded to Geo-Transport and Construction Inc. Notice to Proceed was given last January 28, 2013 with a Contract Duration of 155 Calendar Days. The Project is expected to be completed on July 1, 2013. Important matters and procedures for the smooth implementation of the project were discussed thoroughly. PMO approved the Contractor’s shop drawings of pipes and fittings. The Contractor is now coordinating with their agent, Waterkonsult, for the application of the Business Visa to India for the In-Plant Inspection.  5 representatives composing of PMO, Engineering and PMG personnel will be tasked to inspect the D.I. pipes and Fittings in Kolkata, India. The Contractor is now securing the necessary excavation permit from the City of Lapu-Lapu.
                           
9.0 Proposed Ø300 mm D.I. Water Distribution Main  - Canduman, Mandaue City to Tigbao, Talamban, Cebu City Geo Transport & Construction, Inc. Php 17,900,658.75   28 Jan 2013 26 Jul 2013   0.00% 0.00% 0.00% Pre-Construction Meeting was held last February 7, 2013. The Project was awarded to Geo-Transport and Construction Inc. Notice to Proceed was given last January 28, 2013 with a Contract Duration of 180 Calendar Days. The Project is expected to be completed on July 26, 2013. Important matters and procedures for the smooth implementation of the project were discussed thoroughly. PMO approved the Contractor’s shop drawings of pipes and fittings. The Contractor is now coordinating with their agent, Waterkonsult, for the application of the Business Visa to India for the In-Plant Inspection.  5 representatives composing of PMO, Engineering and PMG personnel will be tasked to inspect the D.I. pipes and Fittings in Kolkata, India. The Contractor is now securing the necessary excavation permit from 2 Local Government Units namely Mandaue City and Cebu City.
                           
10.0 Proposed Ø150 mm Water Distribution Mains - Basak-Babag, Lapulapu City Ana Construction Php 8,368,625.90     07 Feb 2013 04 Sep 2013   0.00% 0.00% 0.00% Pre-Construction Meeting was held last February 15, 2013. The Project was awarded to Ana Construction. Notice to Proceed was given last February 7, 2013 with a Contract Duration of 210 Calendar Days. The Project is expected to be completed on September 4, 2013. Important matters and procedures for the smooth implementation of the project were discussed thoroughly. The Contractor is reminded to submit shop drawings for all the materials intended for the project. MCWD in behalf of the Contractor is securing the necessary excavation permit from the City of Lapu-Lapu.
