1.0 Prop. Pipeline Expansion for Cabancalan Bulk Water Supply Felman Builders and Contractors PhP              16,744,730.61     28 Apr 2010 06 Feb 2011 31 Jul 13   93.7%   The Contractor, Felman Builders, has started the replacement of the defective HDPE pipes along M. Ceniza St., Mandaue City. A total of 186 l.m. of 150mm dia HDPE pipes were installed for the month of April.
                      PMO advises Felman Builders to coordinate with BNR, the Contractor for the Road Concreting and Drainage Line along Barangay Tabok and Tingub so that it will not hamper with their replacement activities.
                          PMO verbally reminded the contractor, Felman Builders, about their terminal date which is on July 31, 2013.
                       
2.0 Prop. Mactan Water System Improvement Program - Package 5 Ana Construction PhP              38,443,210.45     05 Jan 2011 01 Nov 2011 PERT/CPM to be revised - 63.12% - Minor accomplishments were noted for the month of April due to equipment breakdown specifically on their main backhoe breaker. Ana Construction personnel are doing their best to have their backhoe breaker repaired but unfortunately it took a while since the spare parts had to be ordered from Manila. Contractor has laid an additional of around 180 meters of pipeline. Hopefully they can complete it by the end of May 2013.
                    Revision of the PERT/CPM is under evaluation PMO reiterate to Ana Construction to work double time if possible on a 24 hour shift to cover up for the lost time due to the breakdown of their main backhoe breaker.
                    PMO is coordinating closely with the Lapu-lapu City Engineers Office with regards to the completion of 300mm dia steel pipelines since an on-going concreting works has been delayed for quite a while now.
                     
3.0 Prop. Ř 300 mm D.I Distribution Line along Pit-os, Talamban, Cebu City New Culion Builders Company PhP              54,099,956.35     15 Mar 2012 9 Dec 2012 30-Mar-13   82.97%   The Contractor was able to have their suspension order from the Talamban Barangay Council lifted since they were able to complete the asphalting works as one of the mitigating factors that lead to the suspension order. They are almost complete with the pipelaying works. Around 20 linear meters left.
                          The Contractor informs PMO the tentative delivery of their butterfly valves from their supplier, AVK, which will be on April 30.  Contractor is only allowed to work on May 15, 2013. Hopefully complete by end of May 2013.
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process PMO is asking the Contractor for additional documents to support for their claim for additional time due to the delays in the delivery of the imported butterfly valves.
                  To date, the Contractor is on full swing with regards to the installation of Stub-outs assemblies as well as to other appurtenances.

4.0 Prop. Ř150mm & Ř100mm D.I Distribution Line along Umapad-Opao, Mandaue City New Culion Builders Company PhP              15,726,332.82     15 Mar 2012 9 Nov 2012 30-Mar-13   47.48%   PMO is still evaluating the Contractor’s  request for time extension due to the new requirement by the Mandaue City Engineers’ Instruction to put 8” thick lean concrete before their final Asphalt Restoration. PMO is waiting for the Contractor to submit the necessary documents to support to their claim for additional time.  Contractor may not be able to complete the project due to financial problems. Some of the pipes/other materials were not yet delivered on site. 
                    Revision of PERT/CPM is on process The Contractor is waiting for the arrival of their 6” flange adapter for them to connect all the necessary fittings intended for assemblies and for them to conduct the hydrotesting of their installed 6” dia. HDPE pipelines.
                          PMO reiterate to the Contractor to fast track all their activities in order to be able to complete the project as soon as possible.

6.0 Prop. D.I. Expansion Project at Monterrazas de Cebu Dakay Construction and Development Corporation Php              18,288,888.00   01 Nov 2012 14 May 2013 19 Jul 2013   0.00% 0.00% No physical activity as far as accomplishment is concerned. The Contractor is still awaiting the arrival of their D.I. pipes intended for the project.  Contractor has requested t.e. due to delay in processing of visa of inspection team. Delay in processing of visa is due to new policy from indian embassy.
                  Revision of PERT/CPM is on process MCWD Management thru PMO has already granted Time Extension No. 1 consisting of 66 calendar days to the Contractor. The Time Extension No. 1 consists of delays incurred beyond the Contractors’ fault. They are due to delays due to deferment of material procurement and also due to delays in the processing of documents by MCWD personnel who will conduct the in-plant inspection. Pipes are supposed to be delivered by end of april however, there was a problem encountered by contractor. Hopefully, pipes are expected to be delivered on third week of May.
                          With the approval of Time Extension No. 1, the new terminal date for this project will be on July 19, 2013. 
                   
7.0 Prop. D.I. Rehabilitation Project for DMA-25A, W. Cabalse and Holyname Sts., Mabolo, Cebu City Fdrcon Co. Php                2,449,834.22   24 Dec 2012 24 Feb 2013         This is a 'grant project' funded by JICA thru Yokohama Water Company Limited. This rehabilitation project that aims to improve the NRW of DMA-25A in Brgy. Mabolo, Cebu City, involves the installation of approximately 350m Ř100mm PVC pipeline along W. Cabalse Street and 24m Ř100mm PVC connecting line at corner W. Cabalse and Holyname Streets. MCWD will handle (c/o PMG) the installation of stub-outs and transfer-tapping of service connections including the  decommissioning of the existing waterline along W. Cabalse Street.
  JICA-YOKOHAMA-MCWD Special Project                   Pipelaying activity has been completed. It already passed hydrostatic testing. Initial flushing and  disinfection were also completed on March 27, 2013. Interconnection works is scheduled on the first week of April 2013. The contractor had experienced difficulty in exploring the existing Ř350 mm CI pipe along MJ Cuenco Ave. due to its depthness. The actual depth is 2.30 m. from the road surface. . Lean concreting is on going and  about 70% completed. The contractor has also started installing  fire hydrants and its barricades. 
                    On the other hand, PMG has already commence  the installation of stub-outs.
